Jason D. Broecker joined the Keaty Patent Firm in 2016 and provides legal counsel to entrepreneurs and inventors in all aspects of intellectual property to strategically develop, protect, and maintain their trademark and patent portfolio domestically and internationally in a cost-effective manner.
His focus is helping clients acquire, promote, and enforce their intellectual property rights to their trademarks, service marks, and trade dresses, including counseling on availability, filing and prosecuting applications domestically in the US Patent and Trademark Office, managing portfolios, monitoring usage and counseling on enforcement strategies to shut down any infringement, and negotiating and drafting assignment, co-existence, and license agreements.
His practice is not limited to trademarks as he routinely oversees strategies to acquire, expand, and manage portfolios of patent rights domestically and internationally alongside a network of patent attorneys and agents worldwide.
